Senior Living Facilities
An Architect’s Portfolio of independent and Assisted Living Facilities

By Wolfgang J. Hack

It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words; while in my world it is also said that an architect is judged on a scale that encompasses a project being efficient, effective, economically justified and aesthetic.  For that purpose I have gathered some of my practices portfolio together for a pictorial review.

The following project examples are the result of a mission to create places and spaces which enhance the quality of life of its residents.  They offer comfort, security and connection with like-minded individuals in a home like setting where the styles respond to the architecture of each buildings surrounds, ranging from Craftsman to contemporary Mediterranean motifs. The following images convey some of the qualities which distinguish our projects, resulting in their recognition by numerous regional and national design awards.
