Is it not funny how every time you think you have every thing worked out in your mind as to the state of your world, Fate tends to throw you a slide ball and everything that you had accepted as fact has to be revisited.
I thought that finally, after years of fighting, weathering recessions and changing course to keep up with change, I was going to lose it all thanks to two California divorces in fifteen years and a couple of heart attacks in as many months - to say nothing of the wiles of Family Court Judges who seemed unable to believe that any man could be anything other than a "dead-beat dad" and work from that belief out.
Finally one of my oldest friends told me that I had more friends than I thought I had, and I had helped more people than most. Great uplifting cheer as you can imagine, but when he then suggested I go ahead and voice my fears and email my list - I thought he was mad.
However, when the down reached panic attack levels I decided I had nothing to lose and told the world my problems and asked for help. Within 24 hours I was in shock, but thanks to the actions of people, some of whom I had not actually met for several years, the worst of it was over. I was still in business.
519 emails in 24 hours and the phone continuously ringing for three days - and not one stupid, deriding or insulting reply. Just to know I am in the prayers of so many people is a little awe-inspiring. For a sampling of the hundreds of emails I received CLICK HERE
Nothing else to say except - Thank You, everyone of you for taking the time and proving human nature is more than greed and selfishness and that there are so many good people in this world.
