The world considers the War in Afghanistan to be a local war, but in fact there are more countries involved ~ Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, and Baluchistan, however knowledge of the latter is limited, which is a mistake. Baluchistan gained independence from Great Britain in 1947, based upon Treaties from the 19th Century, but was then annexed in 1948 by Pakistan.�� To understand the Afghanistan situation one must also fully understand the factor of the Pashtun people and of Baluchistan ~ Baluchistan Insurgency and the complex situation in the region between Sunni and Shiite Muslims and national aspirations of the whole region.
