Many organizations have implemented, or are implementing, SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft, etc. ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software packages with all the accompanying hopes for process improvements, cost savings and improved productivity that do not always meet those optimistic expectations of the decision making. This has left many CIO's, COO's and CFO's struggling with post ERP implementation challenges that fall mainly into three categories:

1.  Struggling with implementation where day-to-day operating metrics (number of days to close books, order to delivery cycles, cash flow cycles, etc.) have deteriorated post implementation.

2.  Increased pressure to prove benefits and ROI (Return on Investment) for their ERP implementation costs.

3.  Moving, post implementation, into an environment needing to prove ERP investment links to improved shareholder value.

This luncheon discussion forum will be of particular value to any officer in an organization where an investment has been made in any SAP, Oracle, etc. software package solution where at least one site has already gone "live". This is still a small universe of active users, where the experience of organizations is still measured in months rather than years, so we thought that by bringing together some of the experts with like positioned users, might well be very opportune as we face the new Millenium.
